Danielle Olson

Ph.D. Candidate and Research Assistant

MIT CSAIL

I am a graduate student at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) working towards earning my doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. My graduate research advisor is Professor D. Fox Harrell, Ph.D., Director of the MIT Center for Advanced Virtuality.

I work primarily in the subfield of Narrative Intelligence (NI), bringing together my interests in AI, cognitive science, narrative, and media studies. My prior work has focused on story generation, gestural interfaces, and educational uses of interactive storytelling.
