Zoubeida Dagher

Zoubeida R. Dagher is professor of science education at the School of Education (SOE), faculty fellow at the Center for Science, Ethics, and Public Policy at the University of Delaware, and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of science. She teaches undergraduate courses in science education and coordinates the middle school science concentration.  She is also affiliated with the learning sciences and educational leadership doctoral programs at SOE. Her research focuses on studying the nature of scientific methods and practices and analyzing representations of scientific epistemology in science curriculum and instruction. She has served in a number of professional positions such as president of the International History and Philosophy of Science Teaching (IHPST) Group, member of the Board of Directors of NARST: A global organization for improving science education through research, and as a member of editorial review boards of several science education journals.
