Preeti Raman is a postdoctoral associate and educational researcher with the Teaching Systems Lab at MIT. She designs and investigates evidence-based, data-enhanced hybrid learning experiences and technologies to support caring pedagogies across a range of settings. Her expertise is situated in the fields of Computer Science, Affect Studies, the Learning Sciences and AI in Education. She earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Pedagogy at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto where her work has been supported through multiple fellowships and scholarships. She holds an MA in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development from the University of Toronto, a Masters in Computer Science from Carleton University and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from Bangalore University.
