Emily Kmetz is a 6th and 7th grade math teacher and middle school math facilitator at TechBoston Academy in Dorchester. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics from the University of Maine, Orono in 2015. Emily then participated in the UMass Boston teacher education program, Teach Next Year, where she earned a Masters degree in education in 2016. Emily is dedicated to creating a mathematical learning environment that is rigorous, relevant, engaging and fun!
