Chrystalla Mouza

Chrystalla Mouza specializes in teacher learning and professional development related to educational technology and computer science education. Chrystalla received Ed.D., M.Ed. and M.A degrees in Instructional Technology & Media from Teachers College, Columbia University. She serves as a PI or Co-PI on multiple NSF grants that focus on building a research-practice partnership with the Delaware Department of Education to integrate computational thinking in grades 3-5 and providing professional development for teachers in grades 5-12 around computer science principles. She also served as a PI on several projects funded by the Delaware Department of Education to improve teacher quality in high-need schools. She is the recipient of the Distinguished Research in Teacher Education award by the Association of Teacher Educators and serves as editor in chief of Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education (CITE) journal.
