Amanda Hathaway is a math instructional coach at the English High School in Jamaica Plain. Prior to her role as an instructional coach, Hathaway worked as a high school math teacher in alternative education in Boston Public Schools for 12 years. Hathaway believes all students can engage in grade level math work and puts student reasoning and sense making at the center of math instructional practice.
