Alicia “AC” Lane is an engineer, educator and entrepreneur with 10+ years experience in increasing access to STEM careers. From teacher PD to designing CTE pathways to robotics teams, she has connected hundreds of students and teachers with STEM education advocates including Project Lead the Way and TED-Ed. Her current adjunct assignment at UDC includes mentoring Robert Noyce Fellows to address critical teacher shortages. AC’s work in education has been featured on the front page of the Detroit Free Press, American Black Journal on PBS, NPR and on ed.TED.com.
