We Have to Do Something Different: Teachers in the Journey to Create More Equitable Schools is a new documentary film by Aimee Corrigan and Denez McAdoo, and produced by Justin Reich and the MIT Teaching Systems Lab. Across the U.S., our schools are struggling to serve all students, and to help all students succeed. On the journey to create more equitable schools, teachers make thousands of choices each day that impact the lives of their students. From Oakland, CA to Boston, MA, we follow teachers into the space where real change happens: the classroom. As educators grapple to find out what every student needs, they’re working to make school a place where all students can thrive. We are having a screening! Please join us on November 3rd at the MIT Bartos Theatre (20 Ames Street (E15-070), Cambridge, MA 02142) starting at 5:30pm EST and the film will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and cast. Please register here for further details! You can learn more about the film and request remote screening access at somethingdifferentfilm.com
